Service Agreement & Terms of Service

We sincerely appreciate your trust in our services. Please review our detailed Service Agreement carefully. These terms are designed to protect both your rights and our own. 

By scheduling any service with Auto Doctor Detailing, you acknowledge and hereby agree to all terms outlined below.

• Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: Ensure you cancel or reschedule appointments within the stated timeframe to avoid fees.

• Booking/Vehicle Terms & Conditions: Your vehicle must meet certain standards to ensure safe and effective detailing.

For your convenience, a detailed breakdown follows:

Booking & Vehicle Terms

• Personal Belongings:

Remove all personal items, money, and valuables from your vehicle before your service. We request that all car seats and booster seats be uninstalled by you, as we will not remove or install these for safety reasons.

• Liability Disclaimer:

Auto Doctor Detailing is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items, the vehicle itself, or the service location. Cleaning is conducted at your own risk, and we cannot be held liable for damage caused by normal cleaning processes.

• Ceramic Coatings:

If your vehicle is ceramic-coated, notify us before service begins. Special products are required for such vehicles.

• Additional Charges:

We reserve the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, and duration of time we believe service will take. Service costs may vary based on vehicle condition and cleaning time. As a client booking with Auto Doctor Detailing, you acknowledge that our prices are variable depending upon the inspection of your vehicle. Any additional charges will be disclosed and authorized by you before work begins—no surprise fees after service completion.

• Difficult-to-Remove Elements:

Removal of pet hair, sand, odors, and other challenging substances is not guaranteed, as it can be the toughest to remove from a vehicle with normal cleaning services. However, on most occasions, we are successful at removing these elements. We are not responsible for baked-on-break dust that cannot be completely removed either on the surface or deep within the wheel. Some wheels are beyond cleaning and may need to be repaired or replaced.

Bird droppings. bug splatter, sap, and tar will chemically etch into your vehicle's paintwork if left for a long period of time. This will result in a deep chemical mark on the paint that may need additional work to safely remove. In some cases, the mark cannot be removed completely without compromising the clear coat.

Exterior black or grey plastic trim pieces may be beyond restoring, and will have to be replaced. We try our best to restore plastic to its original color, but cannot always do so, due to the condition of the plastic and how worn out it is.

• Windows & Headliners:

Window films may occur due to cleaning product variables, such as temperature. Please allow the car to cool and then take a microfiber towel and wipe the film off if you see streaks. Headliners are cleaned gently to avoid damage but may not appear fully restored due to adhesive limitations. If you choose to clean them, it'll be at your own risk, they may look clean at first but can sag over time due to the glue being compromised. If during pre inspection the headliner is too fragile to work on, we will not attempt to clean. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, this is simply the nature of how cleaning chemicals work.

• Pre-Existing Conditions:

Auto Doctor Detailing is not liable for damage to heavily soiled or pre-damaged components. Such as dash buttons and steering column buttons and knobs. Such areas may be so caked with dirt, and grime, that cleaning may result in these buttons and knobs losing their markings.

Appointment Policy

• Arrival Time:

Allow a 30-minute arrival window. Delays may occur due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances, but we will notify you promptly.

• Cancellation Policy:

• Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a $75 cancellation fee.

• Rescheduling due to weather must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

• Failure to provide vehicle access at the scheduled time will result in a $75 fee.

• Gift Certificates:

Appointments made using gift certificates are subject to the same cancellation policy, and fees will be deducted accordingly.

Operating & Moving Vehicles

Clients must provide vehicle access during the scheduled appointment, and if the vehicle needs to be moved. For specialty vehicles (e.g., exotics, vintage, or display vehicles), the client must be available to assist if the vehicle needs to be moved.

Photo/Video Usage

By scheduling services, you authorize Auto Doctor Detailing to use photos or videos of your vehicle for marketing purposes. We will not disclose identifying information, such as license plates or addresses, without prior consent. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing before the service.

Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you believe a portion of the service was incomplete or unsatisfactory, notify us within 24 hours with accompanying photos. We will redo unsatisfactory portions free of charge.

• Claim Process:

• Report claims via text (713-456-9799), or email (autodr.detailer@gmail.com).

• Claims made after 24 hours or unauthorized repairs invalidate our service guarantee.

Accidents, Pre-Existing Conditions, and Damage

A pre-inspection will be conducted before service begins. Clients are encouraged to inform technicians of specific concerns. Any pre-existing damage or conditions discovered during cleaning will be documented.

• Refusal of Service:

We reserve the right to refuse service for excessively soiled vehicles or other concerns.

Fees, Payment Terms, and Refunds

• A deposit of $75 is required to secure appointments for Auto Detailing services. Larger services (e.g. Ceramic Coatings and Paint Correction) require a 40% deposit.

• Full payment is due upon service completion. Failure to pay invalidates any guarantees or discounts.

• Claims for dissatisfaction must be filed in writing within three days of the service date.

Cancellation of Service

Auto Doctor Detailing reserves the right to terminate services for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Rude or inappropriate behavior toward employees.

• Unauthorized direct engagement with employees outside of company procedures

Legal Terms & Disputes

Unpaid balances are subject to an 18% annual interest rate, and clients are responsible for all legal and collection fees. All claims or disputes must be submitted in writing within three days of the invoice date.

Estimates & Corrections

All service estimates are valid for 30 days and are subject to change based on updated assessments.

By booking a service with Auto Doctor Detailing, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all the terms outlined in this document.
